If you want to enjoy relatively high temperatures in winter, the Natural Park Cabo de Gata-Nijar is the best place to be.. Cabo de Gata Nijar is one of the coastal strips of greater beauty and ecological wealth of the western Mediterranean and an extension of 34,000 has, to which there is to add a marine strip of one mile in width (12,000 has).The average annual temperature is 18.7 ° C, and their waters in the winter are warmer than the air. Winters are mild with minimum temperatures in the coldest month, January, of 8ºC. USA Selection - Dude Ranch in Wyoming
You will spend one week in the last ranch in a remote valley bordering the Shoshone National Forest and the largest wild ecosystem left in the lower 48 states. It has more the character of a family farm than a commercial guest ranch. Horses are the focal point and special pride is taken in the well-mannered Arabs bred and trained for guest use. Ride through wide open spaces with an amazing variety of terrain; sagebrush plains, grassy meadows and rocky gorges give way to forested mountains and alpine clearings. There are well over a hundred horses for about 25 guests, so each person has several different mounts which keeps them fresh and responsive through the season. The program is geared to those who want to improve their skills or who already ride well, and guests are grouped according to ability. Video taped instruction in the outdoor ring is an option for beginner and intermediate riders while experienced cross country riders can try the varied course of over 70 made jumps. There is an evaluation and a short ride on the first day. On picnic rides you can explore the high country and most weeks there will be an opportunity to herd cattle and try your hand at team sorting. |

FRANCE - PROVENCE - Training and Trail Ride in Provence - End of the Year & New year's Eve - 5 day ride
One week to discover riding or improve your level. Our goal is to have you discover the pleasure of riding in nature, with the minimum level to ride safely. On quiet and well balanced horses, such as our professional horses and ponys. For experienced rider, our program will allow you to perfect your level and to enjoy much more your practice on trails. Our certified riding teachers and guides all speak English, they insure riders safety in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Your accommodation is at Mas de Recaute, a farmhouse, great spot for trail departure, in the Luberon Nature Park. Riding lessons are in our other equestrian center, 20 minutes far from Mas de Recaute, well equiped with arena and nice technical trails in the hills. If you wish, you will also be able to learn how to read a map and get information about local nature.
