You cross Wadi Rum on horseback. En route, you visit the Shobak Castle: built in 1115 by Baldwin I of Jerusalem during his expedition to the region when he captured Aqaba on the Red Sea in 1116. Originally called 'Krak de Montreal' or 'Mons Regalis ', it was named in honor of the king's contribution to its construction (Mont Royal). End your stay in Jordan with a day of relaxation and swimming in the Red Sea and a visit to Aqaba after your horseback ride.
