Horseback riding in the Luberon. Three days on horseback between the Petit and Grand Luberon: a diversity of landscapes and exceptional views. Comfortable accommodations with swimming pools, a welcome pleasure in summer after a long day on horseback !

Itinerary

INDICATIVE ITINERARY *

Jour 1 - Day 1 - Monday: Meet at 9:00 AM in Lauris. Departure for a short horseback ride in the surrounding hills. One hour in the morning and two hours in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the guesthouse.

Day 2 - Tuesday: A full-day hike with a picnic lunch on the banks of the Durance River or in a beautiful cedar forest at the summit of the Luberon. Return to your accommodation where you can enjoy a swim in the indoor pool. Dinner and overnight stay at your guesthouse.

Day 3 - Wednesday: Free morning. Visit Lourmarin, listed among the most beautiful villages in France. Lunch on your own (not included) in the village. In the afternoon, enjoy a half-day horseback ride through pine forests, vineyards, olive groves, and orchards. End and departure around 6:00 PM.

Meeting / Departure

MEETING:
Monday at 9am in Lauris in the Luberon.

DEPARTURE:
Wednesday around 6 p.m. in Lauris.

Riding

RIDING LEVEL: to
Be able to handle the horse independently, be comfortable at the walk and trot, and have already cantered outdoors without any apprehension.

RYTHM:
5 hours per day on horseback on average.

GUIDE & ASSISTANT:
1 qualified guide speaking French and English + 1 professional assistant ensuring the preparation of midday meals.

HORSES:
provence horseback riding Essentially crosses of Spanish, Arab, French breed. Horses are allocated according to each rider weight, height, riding level and experience. All our horses are trail riding “professionals”. Living throughout the year in a herd, trail riding is their only work activity. For these reasons, they are well-balanced gentle, yet wilfully engaged.

TACK:
Comfortable trail ride saddles, hollow and secure, fitted with saddlebags. Comfortable for both the horse and the rider.

Comfort

ACCOMMODATION:
Comfortable bed and breakfast for two with indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, next to the equestrian center. Thursday: inn with pool (room or dormitory) at the foot of the Luberon.

Repas table d'hôtes MEALS:
The breakfasts are traditional French breakfasts: hot drinks with bread, butter, jam, honey, cereals, fruit juices (no cheese, eggs, …).

At lunch, picnis are taken in saddle bags.

Dinners are prepared by your hosts at the guesthouse. Local cuisine, varied and refined. Special diets (vegetarian and medical requirements) can be accommodated. Wine is included with meals.

Single room supplement for 2 nights*: 150 €

* If you book a shared room and we do not have a registered guest to share, the "single room" supplement will be charged and refunded if someone registers and also wishes to share.

THE PRICE INCLUDES:
The equipped horse, the guide,, full board accommodation (unless Wednesday lunch), the financial guarantee of your payments by our travel operator deposit.

THE PRICE DOESN'T INCLUDE:
Individual insurance, drinks out of meals, Wednesday lunch, any visits, transfers from / to Marseille airport or Aix-en-Proevence train station, all that is not indicated in "the prices include".

INSURANCE:
A civil liability and travel insurance (assistance/repatriation) is compulsory. A cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
A payment by credit card can make you benefit from its possible insurance (check your contract).
We offer to Europe Union, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway residents: the Chapka insurances.

If you are registering and paying for several riders, you can add riders on the form.

Your personal information (birth date, height, weight, riding level & experience, health information, etc.) are contractuals. The facility / guide / instructor may exclude on site and without compensation, any person whose information is different from the information provided on the registration form, and/or who does not correspond to the conditions of participation.

3. INSURANCES:
Cap Rando is covered for its professional civil liability: GENERALI contract n ° AL974010.
To register on a Cap Rando holiday, you must be covered by an individual liability insurance covering your activity, individual accident, assistance, repatriation, and possibly cancellation (strongly recommended not to lose your payment in case of cancellation for a reason covered by a cancellation insurance).
We offer to Europe Union, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway residents (only) to subscribe the "Cap Security" insurance from Chapka Insurance. This covers you for cancellation, interruption of stay, individual accident, assistance 24h / 24h, repatriation, medical expenses abroad, luggage insurance, civil liability. You can also only subscribe a "Cap Cancellation" cancellation insurance if you have insurance covering other risks.

For other country citizens: if you pay by credit card, depending on your card, you may be fully covered: check your contract.

4. PAYMENT:
- For a stay starting at more than 60 days: It is requested at registration: 50% of the price of the stay, the payment of the insurance possibly subscribed, the transport possibly requested, the booking fees. The balance is to be paid 60 days before the start date of the stay.
- For a stay starting at less than 60 days: Full payment is requested upon registration.
- For a stay starting at less than 21 days: Full payment by credit card is requested upon registration.
- If these are the last places available: Payment by credit card is requested upon registration.
You can pay:
- By credit card on our secure payment website: You will be directed to the payment link after completing the online booking form.
- By bank transfer: Our bank information will be sent to you after reception of your booking form.
For a quick processing and to secure your registration, receipt of your confirmation file within 24-48 hours: choose a payment by credit card. In addition: payment by credit card can allow you to benefit from its possible insurance.
Please note: your reservation will only be confirmed after receipt of your payment.
If you pay by a bank transfer: if possible, do an immediate transfer to secure your booking and send you the confirmation & travel file quickly !

The French law is the strongest and requires all French travel agencies to have an unlimited financial guarantee for their customers in case of financial failure.

5. CONFIRMATION:
You will receive a confirmation file and contract with the invoice and all useful information within 24-48 hours after reception of your registration form and payment.

6. TRANSPORTS:
Before booking your transport: we advise you to wait for the receipt of the confirmation file and check that your transports feet with the meeting/separation times of the offered transfers. We recommend booking refundable transports.

7. CANCELATION POLICY:
Please note: Any stay may be canceled if there are insufficient bookings to ensure the stay up to 20 days before the date of a stay of more than 6 days, 7 days for a stay of 2 to 5 days. In this case, you may be offered a replacement stay or a departure with a supplement, if these proposals do not suit you: a full refund (unless you have accepted a possible supplement upon registration), excluding booking fees and possible non-refundable transport, is guaranteed without compensation.
