29/12: Arrival at the Mas at 2 p.m. Ride of approximately 2 hours, free evening (dinner not included) to enjoy Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer and its many lively restaurants..
30/12: At 9 a.m., departure for a day of horseback riding in the heart of the Camargue. Ride along the banks of the Petit Rhône. Cross the Petit Rhône with your horse via the "Bac du Sauvage", and on horseback to the "Domaine du Grand Radeau": a protected area, access to which is regulated. You ride in this wild site, crossing its marshes, then its superb pine forest, before reaching the beach. Picnic on the beach ... Return to the Mas.
31/12: 8am preparation of the horses, breakfast at 8:30am. Departure for a day of hiking at 9:30am. Ride towards Saintes Maries de La Mer by the bridleways, between lands and ponds. Discovery of the different "levels" of the Camargue up to the coast… Picnic at the "Bouvao d'Aubanel", in the shade of the Laupio… The translations and explanations of these words will be provided to you by your guide!!! Discovery of the East beach of Saintes Maries de la Mer and the Departmental Reserve of Imperials in the afternoon… Landscapes of marshes and sansouïres, richness of the Camargue fauna and flora… A multitude of birds are there depending on the season (350 species of migratory birds are recorded in the Camargue…). Dinner show in Camarkas before your last night at the Mas!
01/01: 01/01: Breakfast at 9am. Departure for the half-day discovery of a manade (local ranch) around 9:30am. Ride towards Saintes Maries de la Mer via the bridleways, to the Layalle manade where the manadier (local rancher) will introduce you to a herd of Camargue bulls and will show you the art and the way of sorting a wild bull in its natural environment. Return to the Mas for lunch and the end of your stay.

29/12 at 2 p.m.
Coming by train: Arles train station, then bus to Pioch Badet (Arles - Saintes-Maries-dela-Mer line n° 50: see schedule). Ticket price: about 3 €. Pick-up at the bus stop and free transfer to the equestrian center.
You can also arrive at Montpellier or Nimes and take a taxi to the equestrian center in Camargue.
Coming by plane: Montpellier or Nimes airport, then taxi to the Equestrian center (cost about 120 €).

RIDING LEVEL: 
To participate, you must be a good rider, comfortable at the three paces outdoor (walk, trot, canter). This program is not offered to beginners.

Mostly Camargue horses, well balanced, trail ride

ACCOMMODATION: 
At the equestrian center, in a typical and simple Camargue farmhouse. 2 bedrooms for 2 people with private bathrooms and two single beds, 1 bedroom for 3 people with private bathrooms and 3 single beds, 1 chalet for 3 people with 1 double bed and 1 single bed (shared bathrooms outside the chalet).
MEALS:
1 free dinner to enjoy Saintes-Maries-de-le-Mer. Picnics carried in the saddlebags. For 31/12 eve: special dinner and horse show.

First evening dinner (free dinner and transfers to the restaurant if you do not have a car, drinks outside meals and at the restaurant), drinks on New Year's Eve, personal insurance, tips, tourist tax (± 3 €/adult over 18 to be paid on site in cash), registration fees (15 €/person), anything not indicated in "the price includes".
INSURANCE:
A civil liability and travel insurance (assistance/repatriation) is compulsory. A cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
