INDICATIVE PROGRAM*
You can arrive and depart any day. The minimum stay is 3 nights, with 3 riding lessons.
Most riders book:

On your arrival day (Day 1), you can check in between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM (dinner is at 7:00 PM). On your departure day, you must check out by noon, but you can leave later in the day.
The exact lesson times will be arranged with your instructor and will depend on your preferences, horse availability, and the number of participants. Lessons last approximately 50 minutes.
Every day, breakfast is served from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Lunch is served at 1:00 PM. Dinner is served at 7:00 PM.
Lessons are always on a private basis, allowing you to focus entirely on what you want to achieve, whether it's strengthening your stance, improving your lateral work, or working on the paces.
The Head Instructor is an experienced rider and trainer with a creative, passionate and direct approach to his teaching.
You can choose an intensive program with two lessons per day, or a more relaxed program with one lesson per day. When you are not riding, you can attend the horse training sessions performed by the staff or the work sessions of other riders ... or just rest at the swimming pool (open 9:30 am -7 pm) !
MEETING:
Day 1 afternoon of your choice (usually Sunday), directly at the equestrian center between 4 and 7 pm (the dinner is served at 7 pm) or at Lisbon airport: optional transfer.
DEPARTURE:
On the day of your choice (minimum 3 nights), generally Saturday after breakfast (served between 8:30 and 10:00) or after lunch (included), check-out before 12:00. Optional transfer to Lisbon.

FLIGHTS:
Flights to Portugal are not included in our prices because it is generally more interesting to book your flights yourself, an inclusive package is generally more expensive with the agency commissions. However, we are at your disposal to help you find the best rates.
RIDING LEVEL: 
All levels. The best is to be comfortable at the three paces: walk, trot, balanced and independent rider. Although the school horses are all very well trained, calm and safe, it is obligatory to wear a helmet. Maximum weight: 90kg.
INSTRUCOR:
High level English speaking instructor.
PROCESS:
Usually you will warm up with an instructor and then move on to another instructor for the remainder of your course. You can choose an intensive program with two lessons per day or only one lesson per day.
HORSES:
Lusitanian purebred horses.
TACK: Dressage saddles. You can also ask to try the traditional Portuguese saddles.
ACCOMMODATION: 
Located in a typical Portuguese quinta, a 1-hour drive north of Lisbon: a winery. Comfortable rooms with private bathrooms for 2 people, single bedrooms available at an additional cost.
There is an unheated swimming pool with barbecue and gym, as well as a tennis and basketball court. Massages are available at an additional cost. The equestrian center is a few minutes' walk from the main quinta.
MEALS:
All meals and breakfasts (from dinner on the day of arrival to lunch on the day of departure) are included.
Evening: Hearty and refined meals, lunchtimes are lighter. All meals are served at the quinta: home-cooked cuisine, using quality seasonal and local produces.
As a wine producer, the quinta offers a wide variety of wines, which you can purchase with your meals. A bottle of the property's rose wine is offered per room as a welcome gift.

INSURANCE:
A civil liability and travel insurance (assistance/repatriation) are compulsory. A cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

Warm welcome, lovely staff, very good instructors who adapt to everyone's level.
Nothing to say. I asked to take a tral ride around the estate, there were two of us riders, accompanied by two instructors. School horses, very calm.
Exceptional horses, very good riders can ride very high level horses. Me and my beginner level in dressage, I was able to have fun with school horses. I rode different horses.
Superb facilities, equipment, everything is nickel, perfectly clean, very beautiful riding school, beautiful sheltered outdoor arena, lunging ring, there is even a very beautiful working riding area. In short, a dream for riders.
The place has a lot of charm. so there is no restaurant strictly speaking, but it is good, simple. The swimming pool is very pleasant.
Cap Rando services: 1st time with Cap Rando and everything went very well.
Very warm welcome, high quality service in a family atmosphere. Rita and Carlos, the owners see us regularly to chat with us. All 3 instructors of the stable (Joao, Rui and Miguel) are at the top during the dressage lessons with relevant corrections and valuable advice, as well as their choice of the suitable horse for the lesson according to the rider's objective.
Manual including the rules of appropriate behavior in the stable and with stallions. Helmet required and can be provided on site. The instructors are omnipresent during the lessons.
The horses are well educated and trained to a high standard. During 7 lessons I rode 4 different horses (Furkado, Alaia, a 19 year old alzan horse and Chardonney). Each horse was chosen according to my objectives that I wanted to work on.
The tack is generally well maintained. Each horse has its own saddle and there are several bridles to choose from which are adjusted before each session by the instructor. A suggestion for improvement would be a communication system with headphones during classes to better hear the instructor.
Establishment in the style of a very clean and comfortable quinta. The meals are fresh, healthy and varied, made like at home. All the guests eat together and we met very nice people from other countries! A beautiful indoor swimming pool and recreational rooms including TV that we didn't even use.
