HORSEBACK TRAIL RIDE IN ANDALUSIA
INDICATIVE ITINERARY *

Day 1: Pick-up at Seville airport and transfer to El Rocío. 1 hour of free time, dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 2: Full-Day Horseback Riding Trip (approximately 6.5 hours).
After breakfast, you're transfered by car to the village of Matalascanas and begin your day by meeting the horses. You'll then set off on a magnificent ride through the picturesque landscapes of Doñana National Park. This full-day excursion takes you into the heart of the majestic Doñana National Park, towards the charming traditional village of El Rocío. A unique adventure awaits: approximately six hours on horseback, discovering some of the most beautiful corners of southern Spain. This ride takes you through pine forests, a characteristic feature of the landscape in this region. Further on, you'll enter vast dehesas, pastures rich in wildlife where mares roam freely, raising their foals. It's a unique spectacle where wildlife coexists harmoniously with traditional horse breeding. After this invigorating ride, you'll stop for a picnic lunch surrounded by nature. This will be the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy a short nap. After this break, you'll resume your trek towards El Rocío, a unique village where time seems to have stood still. It's one of the few places in the world without paved roads or sidewalks, where the primary mode of transport is still the horse. The entire village was designed and built for riders, making it truly one of a kind. You'll end the day with a convivial dinner. An overnight stay in an El Rocío hotel will allow you to rest after this exciting day and prepare for your next adventures.

Day 3: Half-day horseback riding excursion (3 hours).
You begin the day with a morning horseback ride along the picturesque, wide sandy paths of Doñana National Park. Doñana National Park is one of the few places where you can observe the endangered Iberian lynx. With a bit of luck, you might even spot this magnificent wild animal in its natural habitat. This is one of the most important habitats for this rare predator, making the ride all the more exciting. The route then takes you through the marismas, vast floodplains that form the heart of the national park's ecosystem. This unique place provides refuge for numerous bird species, including the majestic pink flamingos. You can admire these birds in their natural habitat, as well as other protected species that regularly frequent the area. Lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a stroll through the village. You'll visit the main church and the Virgen del Rocío shop, as well as equestrian shops offering traditional and unique products. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in a charming hotel in El Rocío.

Day 4: Half-day horseback ride (3 hours) + pub break.
After breakfast, you'll set off on another exciting horseback ride. The route follows the picturesque, wide pilgrimage paths that lead from El Rocío. These ancient trails, used by pilgrims for centuries, offer exceptional views and ideal conditions for a long and enjoyable ride. In the evening, you'll enjoy a unique experience: a horseback ride through El Rocío, punctuated by visits to several local pubs. This original experience allows you to immerse yourself in the local atmosphere. This unusual pastime is at the heart of Andalusian life, where the horse plays a central role in the daily lives of the inhabitants. After the evening ride, you'll return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Full-Day Horseback Ride to the Ocean (6.5 hours)
Today, you'll embark on an exciting full-day excursion along the Atlantic coast. The itinerary includes the beauty of nature and the freedom of horseback riding along endless sandy trails that wind through diverse ecosystems. Your adventure begins with a ride through the picturesque dehesa of Doñana National Park, leading to the Matalascañas dunes. Along the way, you'll enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park. After this beach ride, you'll return to the charming village of El Rocío. There, after an exhilarating day, a traditional Andalusian dinner awaits you.

Day 6: Half-day ride (4.5 hours) on the beach and in the dunes
After breakfast, you'll travel to Matalascanas for an unforgettable day. A pleasant and scenic ride through the dunes will take you to the beach! Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by free time to relax on the sand, swim in the ocean, or stroll along the shore while admiring the sunset over the Atlantic. Return to El Rocío. In the evening, you'll savor a delicious dinner. But that's not all! The evening concludes in style, in true Spanish tradition. An unforgettable flamenco show, full of passion and energy, will immerse you in the captivating world of this music and dance deeply rooted in Andalusian culture. After this memorable evening, return to the hotel for the night.

Day 7: Transfer to Seville airport in the morning.
