Montana, with an area of 381,156 km2, is populated by 998,199 inhabitants (2010)5, making it, along with Alaska and Wyoming, one of the states in the United States with the lowest population density. (2.39 inhabitants/km2). It is the fourth largest state in the United States after Alaska, Texas and California. Bordered to the west by Idaho, to the east by South Dakota and North Dakota, and to the south by Wyoming, Montana borders Canada to the north. Montana is a rural territory with a continental climate, whose landscapes alternate between wide valleys dominated by the imposing peaks of the Rockies to the west and vast fertile plains to the east.

This is an authentic fifth generation working cattle ranch resting in the Clarks Fork Valley, between the Pryor Mountains and the Beartooth Mountains. From the rustic lodge you can enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets, watch white tail and mule deer, an occasional elk, mountain sheep or moose, the howl of the coyotes and the fleeting sight of the red fox.
