Escape for a weekend under the sun of Provence, in the Regional Natural Park of Luberon. Only 3 hours TGV train from Paris, two days on horseback to decompress. You will discover the beauty and the variety of the landscapes of the southern slope of the Luberon, its Mediterranean vegetation often protected from the Mistral. You will be able to discover the superb village of Lourmarin ranked among the most beautiful villages of France where rests Albert Camus. You will enjoy a comfortable accommodation in a bed and breakfast with indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, isolation box. In the evening, excellent Provencal meals prepared by your host.
 
Itinerary

HORSEBACK WEEK END IN THE LUBERON
INDICATIVE PROGRAM *

Saturday: Meeting at 9 am at the equestrian center of Cap Rando, 250 meters from your accommodation. Attribution of your horse, preparation, setting in the saddle in career and walk of 1 hour at the foot of the Luberon. At noon, we take you by minibus to Lourmarin, one of the most beautiful villages in France. You can have lunch in the village, in a bistro or a restaurant and then wander in the village before your guide will pick you up to take you back to the equestrian center. Departure for 2 hours of riding in the valleys of the Luberon. You can then enjoy your accommodation, its indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, insulation box ... Relaxation time before the aperitif based on homemade wines and a provencal dinner.

Sunday: Departure for a day of riding to the banks of the Durance or on the peaks of the Luberon (your choice). The day at the edge of Durance allows faster speeds, riding between hills and river, along orchards of olive trees, vineyards, almond trees, apricot trees, peach trees, asparagus fields ... This territory is the garden of France ! Picnic on the banks of the Durance where you can see many birds, including the majestic gray heron ... and sometimes beavers. The day to the peaks of the Luberon is more rugged and therefore slower but with wilder landscapes with pine forests, Provencal scrubland, at the foot of cliffs sheltering many birds of prey. Picnic in a beautiful cedar forest. Return to the equestrian center of Cap Rando around 16:30. Transfer to La Roque d'Anthéron bus station.

MEETING:

Day 1 (Saturday) at 9 am in Lauris. 
Bus schuttle from Marseille center train station, Marseille airport, Aix en Provence TGV station to Aix en Provence center bus station.
Bus from Aix en Provence center to Lauris: Aix 9:40 am - Lauris 10:43 am.

DEPARTURE: 

Day 3 (Sunday) at 5 pm. 
Free transfer to take a bus from La Roque d'Antheron at 6:38 pm to Aix center 7:30 pm

You must have a first experience, being able to walk, trot and do little canters, to participate and fully enjoy this program.

1 qualified guide speaking French and English + 1 professional assistant.

Essentially crosses of Spanish, Arab, French breed. Horses are allocated according  to each rider weight, height, riding level and experience. All our horses are trail riding “professionals”. Living throughout the year in a herd, trail riding is their only work activity. For these reasons, they are well-balanced gentle, yet wilfully engaged.

Comfortable trail ride saddles equipped with saddle bags. Trail ride saddles are especially designed for long rides as well as for the gaits employed on this type of terrain. The saddles are comfortable for both the horse and the rider.

Horse and tack rental, guide, accommodation (1 night), meals (1 dinner at the guesthouse table, 1 picnic on Sunday, Saturday lunch at Lourmarin is not included), drinks during meals, the financial guarantee of your payments by our travel operator deposit.

PRICES DON'T INCLUDE:

Individual insurance, drinks out of meals, 1 free meal in Lourmarin, any visits, transport to and from Lauris, all that is not indicated in "prices include".

3. INSURANCES:
Cap Rando is covered for its professional civil liability: GENERALI contract n ° AL974010.
To register on a Cap Rando holiday, you must be covered by an individual liability insurance covering your activity, individual accident, assistance, repatriation, and possibly cancellation (strongly recommended not to lose your payment in case of cancellation for a reason covered by a cancellation insurance).
We offer to Europe Union & Switzerland citizens (only) to subscribe the "Cap Security" insurance from Chapka Insurance. This covers you for cancellation, interruption of stay, individual accident, assistance 24h / 24h, repatriation, medical expenses abroad, luggage insurance, civil liability. You can also only subscribe a "Cap Cancellation" cancellation insurance if you have insurance covering other risks.

4. PAYMENT:
A 30% deposit is required upon booking, the balance being due 60 days before the stay date. Less than 60 days before your departure date, full payment is requested at registration.

If you book a trip through Cap Rando, you have the guarantee not to loose any payment. 
The French law is the strongest and requires all French travel agencies to have an unlimited financial guarantee for their customers in case of financial failure.

5. CONFIRMATION:
You will receive a confirmation file and contract with the invoice and all practical information within 24 hours after reception of your registration form and payment.

6. CANCELLATION POLICY:

Please note: Any stay may be canceled in the event of insufficient bokkings to ensure the stay up to 21 days before the starting date. In this case, a replacement stay may be offered to you, if it does not suit you: full refund is guaranteed without compensation. We advise you to book refundable transports.
