A perfect program to prepare you for the practice Inn to Inn progressive horseback trips and to enjoy the wilderness on a safe horse. Especially recommended for families, possibility to book only accommodation if you're non rider coming with a rider.

HORSEBACK TRAIL RIDE IN ANDALUSIA
INDICATIVE ITINERARY *

You can book only part of the program, from 2 days riding and 3 nights.


Day 1: Transfer from Almeria, Granada or Malaga airport. Overnight at your hotel in Rodalquilar.

Day 2: THE WOLF TOWER & PIRATES. For your first day of horseback riding in Andalusia, you will discover the Eastern part of the Natural Park. You will head towards the "Torre de los Lobos" (wolves tower) where you can admire the natural park and, if the weather is clear, the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada. You head to the Rodalquilar Valley, famous since the Roman presence, for its gold mines that attracted pirates landing on the beaches. You take a narrow path along the coast, which served to monitor the landings of pirates, passing by the famous "El Playazo" beach: a golden beach with crystal clear waters and white sand, topped by the castle of San Ramon. About 3 hours on horseback.

Day 3: THE GOLD MINE. You will take the old gold mine trail, you will pass by small ravines that were once the only connection between farms, mountains and the sea. You will cross the volcano crater that now forms the Valley of Rodalquilar, and discover the mineral cliffs that still hold gold today. About 3 hours on horseback.

Day 4: WESTERN LANDSCAPES. Inside the park, far from the coast, there are beatifull landscapes where several famous westerns were shot in the 70s: "A fistful of Dollars", "The Good, the Bad and the Truand ", etc ... You will cross a historic site in the nature park, "the brother's farm", where real events took place, and inspired Federico Garcia Lorca for his novel "Blood Wedding". About 3 hours on horseback.

Day 5: THE VOLCANO. You can not travel through the Cabo de Gata Natural Park without discovering those responsible for its creation: the volcanoes. You will cross the crater of a volcano and you will see how, despite millions of years past, the traces of its eruptions are still visible. About 3 hours on horseback.

Day 6: NEGRAS (THE BLACK HILL). Las Negras is a beautiful place, a spectacular geology in a fishermen's ambience. At the bottom of the bay is El Cerro Negro, an impressive rock formation, which has the appearance of a lava language, witness to what was the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata. In Las Negras you will find orchards watered by water coming from small flows of fresh water of the Rambla de las Agüillas and accumulated in small ponds close to the sea. About 3 hours on horseback.

Day 7: END after breakfast. Transfer to Almeria after breakfast.

MEETING/DEPARTURE

MEETING: 
Sunday afternoon at Almeria airport or bus station, free transfer at 6pm, or directly at your hotel in San Jose. Optional transfer from Malaga, Alicante, Granada airports: 100 € / person for minimum 2 persons.

DEPARTURE: 
Saturday morning after breakfast. Free transfer at 9am to Almeria airport (book a flight after 11:30am). Optional transfer to Malaga, Alicante, Granada airports: 100 € / person for minimum 2 persons.

BUSES: 
From Malaga airport (terminal 3) or from Granada bus station, you can take a bus to Almeria, see websites: www.busbud.com, www.alsa.es, www.goeuro.fr. 

CAR RENTAL:
We recommend car rental, particularly cheap in Spain from 30 € per week), on the site www.autoeurope.fr if you do not arrive in Almeria: flights are often cheaper to Malaga with many lowcost companies. About 4 hour drive from Malaga, 2 hours 30 from Granada.

Stay possible for 1 person with a supplement of 180 €: you do not pay this supplement if other riders are registered on the same dates.

3. INSURANCES:
Cap Rando is covered for its professional civil liability: GENERALI contract n ° AL974010.
To register on a Cap Rando holiday, you must be covered by an individual liability insurance covering your activity, individual accident, assistance, repatriation, and possibly cancellation (strongly recommended not to lose your payment in case of unforeseen your cancellation insurance contract). We offer West European citizens to subscribe the "Cap Protection Insurance" from Chapka Insurance: see information and prices. This covers you for cancellation, interruption of stay, individual accident, assistance 24h / 24h, medical expenses abroad, luggage insurance, civil liability. You can also only take a cancellation insurance if you have insurance covering other risks. If you pay by credit card, depending on your card, you may be fully covered: check your contract.

4. PAYMENT:
A 30% deposit is required upon booking, the balance being due 60 days before the stay date. Less than 60 days before your departure date, full payment is requested at registration.
