Three-day horseback riding in Andalusia: Climb to the foot of Mulhacen which culminates at 3478m: the highest peak in Spain ! This crossing of the Sierra Nevada gives you the opportunity to discover the surprising variety of its landscapes and vegetation. This trek is for experienced and physically fit riders to ride on mountain trails, to reach the high plateau of Las Siete Lagunas, over 3000m above sea level, and discover the panoramas of the mountain ranges of Granada and Spain. Almeria, to the Mediterranean. Also discover the traditional life of these high mountain villages, and Andalusian gastronomy.

HORSEBACK TRAIL RIDE IN ANDALUSIA
INDICATIVE ITINERARY *

Day 1: Capilaira. Transfer from Granada or Malaga airport. Welcome, then presentation of the guide. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel *** in Capileira.

Day 2: BUBIÓN - TREVÉLEZ. Transfer of riders to the equestrian center. Presentation and allocation of horses. You start with a climb by a path which brings you to the Sangre canyon. You then ride down to the village of Pórtugos. Here you start your ascent through a forest of oaks to reach a track where you can canter before arriving at Trevélez. Snack along the way with tapas at a local bar. This village is known for its hams and its so-called highest altitude in Spain with its 1,700 m. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel **.

Day 3: TREVÉLEZ - TREVÉLEZ. You start the day riding on the high mountains of the National Park by taking steep towpaths to the peaks of the Sierra Nevada. You cross gorges where the waters of the melting snow descend, and arrive at the wonderful site of Siete Lagunas (3100 m) for the picnic, at the foot of Mulhacén which, with its 3478m altitude is the highest peak in Spain. After a brief rest, you descend towards Trevélez enjoying a panorama of surprising contrasts where you can observe the endemic flora and fauna tliving at this altitude. Return to the same hotel as the day before for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: TREVÉLEZ - BUBIÓN. After crossing the Bina Gorge, you climb the steep Sulayr trail. The climb allows you to discover a view of the village and the Trevélez Valley. The ascent takes you to La Loma del Jabalí, to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the entire Rio Trevélez valley, the Rio Guadalfeo Valley, and the peaks of the Sierra Contraviesa. After a ride through pine forests and small canyons, you reach Las Alcubillas for the picnic. With an altitude of 2,240m it is the highest point of your day, with a surprising view of the Sierra de Lujar, the peaks of the Sierra Contraviesa, and the Mediterranean! On a clear day, it is possible to see the African coast. The descent ends on forest paths along the Rio Poqueira Valley, until Bubion. Transfer to Capileira. Farewell dinner and accommodation at the Hotel Finca ***.

Day 5: Departure after breakfast, transfer to Granada or Malaga airport.

Day 1 at the end of the afternoon in Andalusia directly at the accommodation or at Granada or Malaga airport (paid transfers).

DEPARTURE: 
Day 5 after breakfast. Paid transfer to Granada or Malaga airport (arrival late morning).

Granada Airport: 50 € / person / transfer.

CAR RENTAL:
We recommend car rental, particularly cheap in Spain from 30 € per week), on the site www.autoeurope.fr if you do not arrive in Almeria: flights are often cheaper to Malaga with many lowcost companies. About 4 hour drive from Malaga, 2 hours 30 from Granada.

RIDING LEVEL: niveau équestre
Be comfortable at three paces outdoors, in good physical condition with some walks on deep trails.

RYTHM:
About 5 hours on horseback per day.

GUIDE: 
Professional licensed guide. Guide speaks Spanish, French and English.

Cap Rando is covered for its professional civil liability: GENERALI contract n ° AL974010.
To register on a Cap Rando holiday, you must be covered by an individual liability insurance covering your activity, individual accident, assistance, repatriation, and possibly cancellation (strongly recommended not to lose your payment in case of unforeseen your cancellation insurance contract).
For Europe Union citizens only: we offer to subscribe the "Cap Protection Security" from Chapka Insurance. This covers you for cancellation, interruption of stay, individual accident, assistance 24h / 24h, medical expenses abroad, luggage insurance, civil liability. You can also only take a cancellation insurance if you have insurance covering other risks.

4. PAYMENT:
A 30% deposit is required upon booking, the balance being due 60 days before the stay date. Less than 60 days before your departure date, full payment is requested at registration.

You will receive a confirmation file and contract with the invoice and all practical information within 24 hours after reception of your registration form and payment.

Please note: Any stay may be canceled in the event of insufficient bokkings to ensure the stay up to 21 days before the starting date.
